Larceny, Bank Card Fraud, Identity Theft: Cornelius Arrests
Four arrests were made in Cornelius last week, for charges ranging from larceny, vehicle break-in and bank card fraud.
CORNELIUS, NC — Cornelius police made four arrests last week, for charges ranging from larceny, vehicle break-in and bank card fraud, according to the most recent police blotter.
There were also nine reported cases of larceny, six vehicle break-ins and one home break-in reported to police.
According to police reports, Faith Alexandria Wynn, 17, and James Lowory Yarboro, 16, were arrested Aug. 14 at Aquesta Bank, located at 19510 Jetton Road in Cornelius. Wynn was charged with common law robbery, felonious restraint, felony conspiracy, simple assault, as well as one count of felony larceny and two counts of misdemeanor larceny.

Yarboro was charged with vehicle breaking and entering, conspiring to commit felony larceny, financial card theft and financial card fraud. According to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, Yarboro has been arrested 12 times since February.
CPD issued 60 citations last week, including 18 for speed-related offenses, one for underage drinking, 11 for expired registration or license tags, and two for boat safety education violations.
