Laundry List of Felony Drug Charges For 3 Arrested In Cornelius

Cornelius Police arrested three people this week, each on numerous drug-related charges.

CORNELIUS, NC — Cornelius Police arrested three people this week, each on numerous drug-related charges ranging from cocaine trafficking, possession of heroin to resisting an officer, according to the town's police blotter released Wednesday.

Cornelius Police are also actively investigating several reports of larceny, breaking and entering of a home and vehicle, and eight cases of fraud.

Jennifer McGrady Strickland, 39, was arrested April 28 and charged with felony possession of heroin, two counts of simple possession of a schedule IV drug, simple possession of a schedule II drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

James Oneal Farmer, 37, was arrested on Statesville Road on April 29 and charged with felony trafficking cocaine, resisting a public officer, marijuana possession, driving with a revoked license and assaulting a government official. Tereika Sherrell Jackson, 33, was also arrested at the same location and charged with multiple crimes including resisting a public officer, felony trafficking cocaine, felony destroying evidence, possessing marijuana, possessing a controlled substance in prison and possession of drug paraphernalia.

During the reporting period between April 25 - May 1, 2018, CPD also issued 19 tickets for speeding, as well as 10 citations for failing to wear a seatbelt.
