Man Killed In Cornelius Labor Day Shooting

CORNELIUS, NC — Cornelius police are investigating a homicide Tuesday morning after a man was found shot to death outside a condo near Lake Norman, according to reports.

It’s the first murder reported in the town in three years, according to WSOC.

According to the station, the man’s body was discovered shortly before midnight at the Admiral’s Quarters condos on Nautical Drive in Cornelius. A witness from the area told the reporter that a woman came to his door and asked him to call 911 because her boyfriend had been shot, and that her purse had been stolen.
