Man With Stolen Gun Charged With 4 Felonies In Cornelius

Cornelius police charged the 18-year-old man with a string of charges ranging from embezzlement to breaking into a car.

CORNELIUS, NC — Cornelius police charged the 18-year-old man with a string of charges ranging from embezzlement to breaking into a car, according to the most recent Cornelius Police Department's crime blotter.

Mustaffa Abdul Jenkins, 18, was arrested July 4 on Victoria Bay Drive and Coral Cove Road in Cornelius, and charged with larceny of a firearm, embezzlement, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, and possession of a stolen firearm — all of which are felonies. He was also charged with a misdemeanor case of larceny.

There were four additional arrests made last week, including that of William Bradford Langdon, 45, who was charged with assaulting a female, violating a protective order and communicating threats.

Cornelius officers also issued more than 50 citations for speeding last week.
