Police Searching For Bailey Springs Package Thief In Cornelius
A woman driving a blue Ford Explorer took a package from the front porch of a Bailey Springs home Friday morning, police said.
CORNELIUS, NC — Police are asking for the community’s help located a woman who they say was videoed stealing a package from the front porch of a Bailey Springs home in Cornelius Friday.
According to Cornelius Police Department, the Dec. 13 theft occurred around 11:15 a.m.
“The suspect is a black female wearing a plaid hoodie jacket in a blue Ford Explorer with a temporary 30-day tag displayed. The vehicle was last seen on Bailey Road headed towards Old Statesville Road,” CPD said.

“We are asking for anyone that lives in this area and surrounding neighborhoods that has a video doorbell camera or exterior cameras to please review your camera footage around this same time for the suspect vehicle and suspect,” CPD said. “Please call our department at 704-892-7773 should you find anything suspicious on your footage.”
