Search Underway For Suspects Behind Thefts In Cornelius: CPD
The two men believed to be behind the thefts were dressed in dark clothing and drove a black SUV and a two-tone Ford truck, CPD said.

CORNELIUS, NC — Police are asking for the public’s help locating two suspects wanted for a rash of thefts of trailers and lawn care equipment in Cornelius.
The pair is believed to be behind three larcenies of stolen trailers and equipment reported near Northline Drive and Starcreek Drive between Dec. 22, 2019 and Jan. 6, according to Cornelius Police Department.
CPD released photos of the suspects and their vehicles during incidents reported Dec. 22.

The men are described as wearing dark clothing, and were driving a black SUV similar in body style to a Ford Excursion, as well as a large two-tone Ford pickup truck.




“Please keep an eye out for suspicious activity in this area and report it by calling 911,” CPD said, adding that anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call 704-892-7773, or North Mecklenburg Crime Stoppers at 704-896-7867.
