Officer Stevenson started his law enforcement career at UNCC. He worked there for four years before transferring to the Cornelius Police Department. SRO Stevenson started his career with the Cornelius Police Department on September 13, 2004. During his career here, he has worked in the Patrol Division, Community Awareness Response Team (CART), Lake Patrol, CRU team, and finally the School Resource Officer for William Hough High School. He has closed several gaps with students who did not like or had a bad opinion of officers. Because of his rapport with the students and staff members, they all have great respect and love for SRO Stevenson. SRO Stevenson has been a model officer with the department and has had a successful career here. On April 1, 2021, SRO Stevenson will be retiring with 21 years in Law Enforcement. We are proud of all he has done in his career and he will be truly missed by everyone here at the Police Department.

Congratulations SRO Stevenson!
