Suspect Charged In Cornelius With Human Trafficking Of A Minor
Cornelius police arrested Dajuan Akeem Blair, 23, and charged him with human trafficking and promoting prostitution of a minor.

CORNELIUS, NC — Cornelius police arrested a 23-year-old man this week, charging him with human trafficking a child victim and promoting prostituion of a minor, according to police records.
Dajuan Akeem Blair was arrested on the prostitution charges May 10 in the 9100 block of Glenashley Drive in Cornelius, according to the Cornelius Police Department blotter.
Blair’s arrest was one of five reported in Cornelius from May 8 through May 14. Other arrest charges included larceny, a protective order violation, assault with a deadly weapon and driving with a revoked license and a fake tag.

CPD issued 15 citations last week, including six for failing to stop for a red light or stop sign and one for failing to carry a valid driver’s license.
Dominion Energy reported a larceny on Catawba Avenue, as well as two cases of fraud and one case of property damage, CPD said.
