Suspect Wanted On 9 Felony Identity Theft Warrants: CPD

CORNELIUS, NC — Police in Cornelius are asking for the public’s help finding a man they say is wanted on nine felony identity theft charges.

Bobby Lee Edwards, 43, was identified as the primary suspect in a fraud investigation that began last month, according to Cornelius Police Department.

CPD said that anyone with information about Edwards’ whereabouts is asked to call the police department at 704-892-7773 or North Mecklenburg Crimestoppers at 704-896-7867.
