Three Drug-Related Arrests In Cornelius: CPD Blotter
One woman was charged with simple possession after she ran a red light, and a man was charged with cocaine possession, according to CPD.
CORNELIUS, NC — Three people were recently arrested and now face drug-related charges, according to the most recent police blotter.
Montoya Shambria Payne, 25, was charged April 17 with failure to stop for a steady red light, as well as simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, which is a misdemeanor.
That same day, Patrick Jack-Timothy Martin, 21, was charged with possession of cocaine. On April 23, Sasan Shazal, 32, was charged with larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Cornelius Police Department.

CPD issued 25 citations last week, including 11 for speed-related offenses and two boat safety-related offenses. Seven cases of larceny were also reported.
