Town Of Cornelius 2020-2021 Proposed Budget

On Monday, June 1, Cornelius Town Manager Andrew Grant presented the Manager's Recommended Budget for the 2020-2021 fiscal year.

As citizens of Cornelius, you are invited to review the proposed budget and a recording of the June 1 Public Hearing.

The next Public Hearing will be held on Monday, June 15, and the budget will be adopted on Thursday, June 18.

Please note that both meetings will be in-person sessions with a Livestream option.

Due to COVID-19 concerns, physical distancing will be implemented on the dais, and there will be no audience in the chamber. The public and media are invited to view the meeting via Livestream on Facebook or the Town’s website.

Public comments may be submitted via email to TownofCornelius@Cornelius.org. In-person public comments will also be permitted with the following precautions:

• One speaker at a time will be invited into the chamber;
• Those waiting to speak must do so in the lobby;
• All are encouraged to practice the 3 W’s upon entering Town Hall:

Additional precautions may be taken upon entry, including a health screening questionnaire and touchless temperature check.
