Town Of Cornelius Selling Old Public Works Building
The Town of Cornelius has accepted an offer on the Old Public Works Building on Starcreek Drive. Here's how much it the buyer is offering.
CORNELIUS, NC — The Town of Cornelius is selling the Old Public Works Building and has accepted a purchase offer of $570,000 for the building located at 18520 Starcreek Drive, it announced Wednesday.
The purchase offer is set to close within 100 days of Jan. 21, the town said.
“Within 10 days of January 21, 2020, any person may raise the bid by no less than 10 percent of the first one thousand dollars and five percent of the remainder,” it said in a notice. “If the bid is raised, the bidder shall deposit with the Assistant Town Manager five percent of the increased bid and a new 10-day upset period will begin.”
