Two Homes Broken Into In Cornelius Last Week: Police Blotter

Four people were arrested last week, with charges ranging from larcey to driving while impaired, according to Cornelius police.

CORNELIUS, NC — Cornelius police made four arrests last week, with charges ranging from larceny to driving while impaired, according to the police department's blotter. A 25-year-old man was arrested and charged with communicating threats and resisting an officer.

Two homes were reportedly broken into in the past week, on Sterling Bay Lane West and Center Street. Three larcenies — including thefts from Circle K and Fun Outdoor Living — were reported along with one theft from a vehicle and three cases of damage to property.

Cornelius officers also issued 40 citations last week, including 10 tickets for speeding, one for assault and battery, five for driving with a revoked license, five for driving with no insurance and one for texting while driving.
