CORNELIUS, NC — There will be several lane closures on interstates in the area, including I-485, I-77 and I-85. See below to find out where to avoid if you have to travel through the area.

Northbound I-77
Expect rolling lane closures from the I-485/I-77 interchange to Exit 23 as follows:

  • Thursday, October 12 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
  • Saturday, October 14 from 10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Expect lane closures from Exit 31 to Exit 35 as follows:

  • Monday, October 9 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Expect lane closures from Exit 35 to Exit 36 as follows:

Southbound I-77
Expect lane closures from Exit 35 to Exit 33 as follows:

  • Friday, October 13 and Saturday, October 14 from 10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Expect rolling lane closures from Exit 23 to the I-485/I-77 interchange as follows:

  • Thursday, October 12 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
  • Friday, October 13 from 10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.

I-85
Expect lane closures on I-85 southbound from Exit 39 to Exit 38 as follows:

  • Monday, October 9 to Thursday, October 12 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
  • Friday, October 13 from 10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Expect lane closures on I-85 northbound from Exit 38 to Exit 39 as follows:

  • Wednesday, October 11 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
  • Friday, October 13 from 10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. *Ramp from I-85 northbound to I-77 southbound will be closed overnight from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

I-485 Outer
Expect closures on Exit 23B ramp to northbound I-77 as follows:

  • Wednesday, October 11 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

* Lane closures and construction activities may vary depending on weather conditions.
* Stay alert. Shoulder closures and side street lane closures may occur daily.
