Westmoreland Road Closed Due To Gas Leak: CPD

CORNELIUS, NC — Westmoreland Road shut down to traffic Thursday morning due to the discovery of a gas leak, according to Cornelius Police Department.

The Dec. 19 closure affects Westmoreland Road between Statesville Road and Lake Pines Drive.

“Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools have been made aware of the road closure and buses will be taking alternate routes,” CPD said in an alert. “Please seek an alternate route this morning as crews work and be prepared for potential traffic delays due to the road being closed.”
