Woman Nabbed For Breaking Into A Car, Card Fraud In Cornelius

A woman was nabbed for stealing and using credit cards and a man arrested for assaulting a female, according to Cornelius police.

CORNELIUS, NC — A 34-year-old woman was arrested and charged recently for breaking into a vehicle and stealing and using bank cards, according to Cornelius Police Department.

Jacqueline Rion was arrested June 14 and charged with breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, larceny, financial card fraud and financial card theft, according to CPD’s crime blotter.
Josef Keon Percell-Galloway, 32, was arrested on June 18 and charged with five offenses, including assaulting a female, interfering with emergency communication, injury to personal property, injury to real property, as well as an order for arrest for driving while intoxicated.

There were three additional arrests made last week. On June 14, Robert Tyler McDaniel, 26, was charged on June 14 with driving with a revoked license; Janusz Sobjanek, 41, was charged with breaking and entering; and Steven Lane Martin, 50, was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

CPD handed out numerous driving citations including 58 speeding tickets. Five criminal citations were also issued for underage drinking at a home located on Kings Point Drive.
