2 Break-Ins Reported Near Plum Creek Park: Davidson Police

DAVIDSON, NC — Two cases of breaking and entering/larceny were reported last week in Davidson, according to the Davidson Police Department.

The two incidents were reported Oct. 9 on Stonebriar Ridge Drive, according to a police report. That same day, two simple assaults were also reported in town — on Blackwelder Drive and Catawba Avenue.

There were no arrests in Davidson last week, police said.

Police issued 21 citations for various offenses that do not require a court appearance:

• Speeding — 6
• Expired tag — 8
• Expired inspection — 3
• Improper passing — 1
• No operator’s license — 1
• Seatbelt violation — 1
• Fail to maintain lane control — 1
