2 Men Arrested In Davidson For Writing Worthless Checks
Davidson police also busted a driver going 60 mph in a 25 mph zone, according to a police report.
DAVIDSON, NC — Two men were arrested in Davidson recently on outstanding warrants for writing bad checks, according to the Davidson Police Department blotter.
John B. Knox, 57, and Frank Lee Brantley, 58, were both arrested Feb. 19 on Southeast Drive in Davidson, DPD said.
Davidson police also issued three citations last week, including speeding charges for James Valentine Bolen, 19, who was stopped on Griffith Street driving 60 mph in a 25 mph zone, DPD said. Two citations were written for charges related to driving with a revoked license.

Also reported last week were two larcenies — on Old Meeting Way and Caite Ride Road — one breaking and entering and larceny on Shearer Road, and a dog bite on North Falkner Way, DPD said.
