DAVIDSON, NC — Davidson’s Main Street could soon have a new office building. Developers propose building a three-story commercial building with plaza open space at the site of the closed Wells Fargo drive-through bank kiosk located on the corner of Main Street and Catawba Avenue, according to the Town of Davidson’s planning department.

The proposal for the 15,000-square-foot building project, dubbed “Davidson NoSo Commercial Development,” were submitted to the town Sept. 26. According to the proposal, the building complex would also include 31 parking spaces.

Construction documents for the proposed project are currently under review by the county and town, ehe town’s development planning office said.
