5 Fun Things To Do This Weekend In Davidson: Aug. 25-27

DAVIDSON, NC — With a week left to go before summer's end, make sure to check out these fun events on tap for the weekend.

Davidson Farmers’ Market -- Summer may be drawing to a close soon, but the farmers’ market is still going strong in downtown Davidson. This Saturday, Brooklynville will be playing live.

Outdoor Movie Series: The LEGO Batman Movie: This is the last movie in Cornelius’ summer movie series, so grab a blanket and picnic basket and head down to Robbins Park (17738 West Catawba Ave., Cornelius). The movie starts at dusk, around 8:30 p.m.

Lake Norman YMCA Sprint -- Ingersoll Rand and Lake Norman YMCA are hosting a triathlon Saturday morning, from 6:45 a.m. to noon. This year, the race starts at Ingersoll Rand’s location at 800 Beaty Street in Davidson.

Davidson Concert on the Green: Kids In America: Grab your leg warmers and those neon britches tucked in the back of the closet and head to the Town Green in Davidson to hear Kids in America - Totally 80s Tribute band. The Sunday concert starts at 6 p.m.

Live Music with Jayne Sprinkle -- Enjoy live music provided by Jayne Sprinkle Sunday night at The Cabin at 400 N. Harbor Place Drive in Davidson. The show starts at 6 p.m.
