5 Fun Things To Do This Weekend In Davidson: Sept. 22-24
A massive corn maize, life-size Chinese lanterns and free museum tickets are all among the fun things to do in Davidson this weekend.

DAVIDSON, NC — Autumn is officially here, and it’s going to be a great weekend to get outside. Be sure to check out these fun events on tap for the weekend.
This weekend, Huntersville will have clear skies and warm temperatures to look forward to, according to the National Weather Service. Highs through the weekend will top out at 85 on Saturday, and lows will stay in the mid 60s, NWS said.

Here is Davidson Patch’s list of five fun things to do this weekend:
- Yoga on the Green -- Davidson’s Town Green turns into a yoga studio Saturday afternoon in an afternoon of free yoga, demonstrations and live music. Saturday, Sept. 23, 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
- Time For Three -- This exuberant string trio joins the Davidson College Symphony Orchestra to blend classical, jazz, bluegrass and funk. Saturday, Sept. 23, 8 p.m, Duke Family Performance Hall, 207 Faculty Drive, Davidson.
- The Amazing Maize Maze: Rural Hill hosts this annual event featuring more than seven acres of mazes for one of the largest corn maze experiences in the southeast. Historic Rural Hill, 4431 Neck Road, Huntersville. Runs through Nov. 5.
- Museum Day Live! -- Museums across the country including 31 museums in North Carolina will be opening their doors for free Saturday as part of “Museum Day Live!”. Saturday, Sept. 23.
- Chinese Lantern Festival -- More than 800 life-size chinese lanterns festoon 12 -acres at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, 6500 South New Hope Rd., Belmont. Runs through Oct. 29.
