Virtual Earth Day

Coming Wednesday! The Davidson Parks and Recreation Department announces its VIRTUAL Earth Day on April 22. Be on the lookout for ideas, resources, and engaging activities to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day and the 20th anniversary of the Davidson Lands Conservancy. Virtual DPR Updates

Visit our virtual recreation page for some new updated activities and information. We have also included the National Park Service (NPS) link since it is National Parks Week. The NPS has taken their week digital with activities and virtual tours. This is a perfect time to dream and plan of a place to hopefully visit soon. Learn more from NPS here.

Do You Have a Skill/Talent?

Can you teach someone to juggle, sew a mask, or bake cookies? Do you have a skill or talent you would like to share with the community? We would love to showcase you! Send us your short video and we will post it to our virtual recreation page. Submissions can be sent by clicking here.

Coming in May and Additional Information....

Look for information coming soon on the Town of Davidson celebrating May with Bike Month and Mental Health Awareness Month.Our parks and greenways are still open. The only closings we have are the Abersham and Fisher Farm parking lots to vehicular traffic, playgrounds, and sport courts. Please get out and enjoy this wonderful weather but please continue to practice physical/social distancing.
