Counterfeit Cash, Stolen Vehicle: This Week's Crimes In Davidson

A vehicle was reported stolen in Davidson this week. Here's a rundown of crimes around town.

DAVIDSON, NC — Davidson police received reports of numerous crimes around town this week, including a case of counterfeit money on Delburg Street.

According to the police department blotter, there was one arrests made in town last week. Ephraim D'Carus Smith, 40, was arrested May 23 on Lake Cornelius Boulevard and charged with a federal arrest warrant.

  • May 19 — Larceny of a vehicle, Harbour Place Drive
  • May 19 — Larceny (felony), Portside Drive
  • May 19 — Counterfeit currency, Delburg Street
  • May 20 — False pretense, Davidson-Concord Road
  • May 21 — Larceny (misdemeanor), Depot Street
  • May 22 — Possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, Grey Road

Officers issued citations to two people between May 19 and May 25 that require a mandatory court appearance, according to DPD data:

  • Angie Marie Borders, 37, was cited May 23 on NC-115 and charged with driving with a revoked license and speeding.
  • Markell Demar Turner, 26, was cited May 24 on Davidson-Concord Road andand charged with driving with a revoked license and speeding.

DPD also issued the following citations, which do not require a court appearance:
