Davidson, Huntersville And Cornelius Named As Top NC Suburbs

DAVIDSON, NC -- Davidson may be small but it’s reputation is mighty, earning it recognition as the No. 7 suburb to live in in North Carolina, according to Niche.com. Also joining the Lake Norman college town is Huntersville and Cornelius, which have been recognized as the No. 11 and No. 13 suburbs this year in the rating service’s 2017 Best Suburbs to Live in North Carolina list.

The rankings are based on crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities and local amenities.

“My experience living in Davidson, NC has been a positive one. I like the small town atmosphere with uptown Charlotte only 15 minutes away. It is also a bonus being so close to Lake Norman,” said one resident in a review of the town.
