Davidson Task Force Seeks Input On Beaty Street Property
A task force of 14 Davidson residents has launched an online survey seeking community input for the new town park on Beaty Street.

DAVIDSON, NC — A task force of Davidson residence is seeking community input through an online survey in order to identify and shape recreation needs for the new 20-acre Beaty Street Park project, the Town of Davidson said Monday.
The 14-person task force is following up on responses to an August poll and is seeking input through an online survey through Sept. 3, the town said. That survey may be found here.
“Based on an 80 percent response rate in teh first survey that citizens prefer the Beaty property as a natural space, the second survey will seek to determine the types of natural spaces that Davidson citizens prefer,” the Town of Davidson said Aug. 20.

Results of the task force’s first community survey can be found here.
Earlier this year, the Town of Davidson voted to preserve the tree-filled parcel of land on Beaty Street and launched the task force to outline community recreational needs and public amenities that would keep with the natural setting.
