Davidson Woman Arrested On Assault With Deadly Weapon Charge

DAVIDSON, NC — A 25-year-old Davidson woman has been arrested and charged for assault with a deadly weapon in an incident that sent a victim in Huntersville to the hospital Tuesday.

According to Huntersville Police Department, a call for help was made at a residence in the 8000 block of Streamview Drive near Birkdale Golf Club in Huntersville on April 24. Officers on the scene found an injured victim, who was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect, however, was not at the home.

HPD identified Laura Kello, 25, as the suspected, an obtained warrants for assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and breaking and entering with intent to injure.

Kello was located at her Davidson home by officers of the Davidson Police Department, who took her into custody without incident, HPD said.
