Four Cars Stolen In Davidson, All Unlocked Or With Keys Inside

A rash of vehicle thefts in Davidson over the weekend has prompted police to issue a warning to residents.

DAVIDSON, NC — Four vehicles have been stolen in Davidson since Saturday and several larcenies from vehicles have been reported, according to Davidson police, who say in all of the cases, the vehicles were either left unlocked or had keys inside.

According to Davidson Police Department, the thefts occurred in the McConnell, Bradford and Davidson Landing neighbors in town.

“Please remember to close and secure your vehicles and garage doors,” DPD said in a statement about the incidents. “Keep out of sight or remove all valuables, including spare keys, from your vehicle. These types of crimes are preventable when vehicles are locked.”
