Habitual Larceny, Communicating Threats: 3 Arrested In Davidson
Donald G. Bailey was charged with communicating threats and violating a domestic violence protective order, Davidson police said.

DAVIDSON, NC β A Davidson man was recently arrested two days in a row, according to the most recent round of police data.
Davidson police initially took Donald G. Bailey, 47, into custody on Jan. 17, charging him under an arrest warrant for communicating threats. The next day, Bailey was arrested again on Lakeview Avenue, charged with violating a domestic violence protective order.
According to DPD, he was one of three people arrested in town last week.

Crystal Heye, 45, was arrested on Potts Street Jan. 19, under an order for arrest from Iredell County.
Also arrested last week in Davidson was Ronnie Reid, 57, Jan. 19 on Potts Street. Reid was charged with felony habitual larceny, DPD said.

In addition to the two arrests, DPD also recorded seven crime incidents last week, which included assault in the presence of a minor on Lingle Drive, two domestic violence protective order violations, and a larceny on Main Street.
DPD issued 29 citations overall, 27 for various offenses that do not require a court appearance. Those included:
- Speeding β 10
- Expired tag β 8
- Expired inspection β 3
- Failure to decrease speed to avoid collision β 1
- Failure to yield right of way β 1
- No drivers license β 1
- Stop sign violation β 3
Citations requiring a mandatory court appearance include:
- Cameron Ryan Bowie, 29, cited Jan. 15 on Griffith Street, charged with driving while license revoked
- Jie Brandon Johnson, 30, cited Jan. 20 on Catawba Avenue, charged with driving while license revoked
