Heavy rain could lead to possible localized flooding this week in North Carolina, according to forecasters. Here's when you can expect rain.

DAVIDSON, NC — Heavy rains moving into the piedmont of North Carolina could lead to possible localized flooding Monday, with more heavy rain expected later the week, according to national forecasters.
Showers are expected in the Charlotte and Lake Norman region Monday afternoon and will stretch into the evening, according to the National Weather Service. Some of the storms could produce isolated thunderstorms with cloud-to-ground lightning and gusty winds, it said.
More rain is expected Wednesday into Thursday, NWS said in a hazardous weather bulletin.
