Man Charged With Breaking, Entering: Crimes In Davidson

DAVIDSON, NC — Police received reports of numerous crimes around town this week, including two break-ins, vandalism, a stolen vehicle and a dog bite, according to Davidson Police Department.

According to the police department blotter, Art Sanders, 34, was arrested June 10 and charged with felony breaking and entering, and communicating threats.

Here's a rundown of the crimes reported to Davidson Police Department:

• June 9 — Theft of auto, Blackwelder Driver
• June 9 — Breaking and entering, Larceny, Kenmare Crossing Road
• June 10 — Breaking and entering, communicating threats, Jetton Street
• June 11 — Misdemeanor larceny, Northeast Drive
• June 12 — 50B [Protective] Order Violation, Jetton Street
• June 12 — Vandalism, damage to property, Old Arbor Court
• June 14 — Dog Bite, Concord Road
• June 15 — False pretense, Turnberry Court

Officers issued two citations between June 9 and June 15 that require a mandatory court appearance:

• Grayson Jack Friedman, 21, was cited on June 12 on NC-115, charged with driving while license revoked
• Lavarious Martel Stewart, 27, was cited June 11 on Beaty Street, charged with driving while license revoked

DPD also issued the following citations, which do not require a court appearance:

• Speeding — 9
• No operator's license — 3
• No insurance — 1
• Expired tag — 1
• Expired inspection — 1
• Fail to stop at stop sign — 4
