DAVIDSON, NC β Christmas kicks into high gear this weekend in Lake Norman, with the annual North Mecklenburg Christmas Parade set for Saturday, Dec. 1. The festive annual tradition begins at 1 p.m. on Main Street in Davidson and concludes at the intersection of Highway 115 and Catawba Avenue.

What is the parade route?
The North Mecklenburg Christmas Parade begins on the corner of Main Street and Griffith Street in Davidson at 1 p.m. The parade will proceed south on Main Street to Highway 115 and Catawba Avenue in Cornelius.

Where are the road closures?
The streets being used for parade staging (Jackson Street from Depot St. to Delburg St., Watson, and Griffith Streets from Main to Sloan/Beaty Streets) will close starting at 10 a.m. Main Street from Beaty Street in Davidson south to the Cornelius border will close at noon and will re-open at approximately 3:30 p.m.
