Pumpkin Picking, Street Festival: This Weekend In Lake Norman
From the fall festivals to pumpkin picking and an oyster roast, there are plenty of fun events happening around the lake this weekend.

DAVIDSON, NC — Do you have a pumpkin yet? This weekend, there are plenty of fun things to do around town, including pumpkin picking. It’s Brewfest Weekend at the Carolina Renaissance Festival and there will be oysters and live music by Jim Avett at LangTree Lake to enjoy.
Here are five events to check out around Lake Norman this weekend:
- 2nd Friday Street Festival — Friday, Oct. 12, 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Oak Street Mill, 19725 Oak Street, Cornelius.
- Carolina Renaissance Festival Brewfest Weekend — Saturday, Oct. 6, 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Carolina Renaissance Festival, 16445 Poplar Tent Road, Huntersville.
- 6th Annual Huntersville Fall Festival — Saturday, Oct. 13, 10 a.m., Barnette Elementary School, 13659 Beatties Ford Road, Huntersville
- Oyster Fest & An Evening with Jim Avett — Saturday, Oct. 13, 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. LangTree Lake Norman, 401 Langtree Road, Mooresville. Tickets may be purchased here.
- Pumpkin Picking at Carrigan Farms — Saturday, Oct. 13, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Carrigan Farms, 1261 Oak Ridge Farm Highway, Mooresville.
