Internet Safety Month

National Safety Month concludes today! Earlier this month, we posted safety tips about water safety, plant safety, and the importance of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.June is also Internet Safety Month so we are finishing up with a safety tip from the Davidson Police Department. Issues like cyberbulling, online enticement, smartphones, gaming, and social media are critical now, even more so as so many aspects of work and play are based online these days. NetSmartz is a nonprofit organization providing resources for parents, educators, and communities who are trying to be vigilant about protecting children and teens.
