Roundabouts Under Consideration To Improve Traffic Flow In Davidson

NCDOT officials will convene early next month to discuss possible street extension, roundabouts to help traffic flow in Davidson.

DAVIDSON, NC -- North Carolina transportation officials will hold a public meeting next month to discuss possible solutions to improving traffic flow in the Davidson area, including constructing a traffic circle at the intersection of Potts Street and N.C. 115, extending Potts Street to Sloan Street and constructing a traffic circle at the intersection of Griffith Street and Sloan and Beatty streets.

NCDOT representatives attending the Oct. 5 meeting will be able to answer questions about the proposed projects the department says would “improve connectivity, improve traffic operations and provide transportation alternatives through Davidson and Cornelius.”
