Shoplifting, Assault, Trespassing: This Week's Crimes In Davidson
Davidson police cited two people for drug possession this week. Here's a rundown of crimes around town.
DAVIDSON, NC — Davidson police received reports of numerous crimes around town this week, including a case of shoplifting on South Main Street.
According to the police department blotter, there were no arrests made in town.
Here's a rundown of the crimes reported to Davidson Police Department:

- May 12 — Larceny (shoplifting), South Main Street
- May 14 — Larceny (misdemeanor), Mock Road
- May 14 — Simple assault, Lakeview Avenue
- May 15 — False pretense, Delburg Street
- May 15 — Trespass, Dogwood Lane
- May 18 — breaking and entering (misdemeanor), South Street
Officers issued citations to two people between May 12 and May 18 that require a mandatory court appearance, according to DPD data:
- Cody Robert Hammond, 26, was cited May 16 on Jetton Street and was charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana.
- Tyshaun Malik Cunningham, 24, was cited May 15 on Griffith Street and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana
DPD also issued the following citations, which do not require a court appearance:
