St. Alban's Car Break-In, Multiple Larcenies Reported: DPD
Five larcenies were among the crimes reported to police this week. Here's a rundown of crimes around Davidson, according to DPD.
DAVIDSON, NC — Despite the current stay-at-home order in place in Mecklenburg County, police have received a list of crime reports from Davidson residents, for incidents ranging from simple assault to larceny.
On April 8, Davidson Police Department took reports of a simple assault on Sloan Street, a larceny on Jetton Street and an incident of stalking on Turnberry Court.
The next day, DPD received a report regarding a larceny on Mock Circle.

On April 10 an incident of false pretense was reported on Jetton Street, as well as a larceny on Mock Road.
Another larceny was reported April 11 on Sloan Street, as well as a breaking and entering of a vehicle and larceny from it on O'Henry Avenue.

A larceny was reported on Sunday, April 12 on South Main Street, DPD said.
According to the DPD blotter, there were no arrests made between April 7 and April 13. There were, however, several citations issued.
Joshua David Brown, 25, was cited April 9 on Hwy. 115 for driving while license revoked, DPD said.
DPD also issued the following citations, which do not require a court appearance:
- No operator's license — 1
- Speeding — 1
- Failure to decrease speed to avoid collision — 2
- Expired tag — 1
- Expired inspection — 1
