Thanksgiving Forecast: Here’s When You’ll See Rain In Lake Norman

Thanksgiving Day will be sunny and dry, however rain is expected to move in late Friday. Here is your forecast through the weekend.

DAVIDSON, NC — Thanksgiving Day will be filled with plenty of sunshine, however rain is on the way, according to forecasters. After a week of beautiful, crisp fall weather, skies will begin to cloud and showers fall late Friday evening, the National Weather Service said.

Rain will move into the region after 11 p.m. Friday through most of Saturday. Conditions will improve throughout the day on Sunday, which is expected to be mostly sunny, but more rain is expected by Sunday evening.

While Thanksgiving day is expected to be sunny and dry, it will get cold. The low Thursday is expected to drop to 30 degrees.

Sunny, with a high near 56. West wind around 6 mph.

Clear, with a low around 37. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph after midnight.

Sunny, with a high near 52. East northeast wind 5 to 7 mph.
Thursday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 30. East wind around 7 mph.
Friday (Nov. 23)
Mostly sunny, with a high near 45. East northeast wind around 7 mph.
Friday Night
Showers, mainly after 11pm. Low around 38. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Saturday (Nov. 24)
Showers, mainly before 3pm. High near 52. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Saturday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 41.
Sunday (Nov. 25)
Mostly sunny, with a high near 59.

A 40 percent chance of showers after 7pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 45.
