Town Of Davidson: Davidson Offers COVID Business Support Grant For Local Businesses

The Davidson Board of Commissioners is pleased to announce an additional round of the Davidson COVID Business Support Grant. This grant seeks to support local businesses with expenses directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The board allocated $50,000 for this grant fund using ARPA (American Rescue Plan) dollars at their September 14th meeting.

Grants will be available for retail businesses located in Davidson’s commercial districts starting today, October 11, 2021. Applications and grant guidelines can be found on the town’s website: www.townofdavidson.org/doingbusiness/covidgrant. A qualifying business can apply for up to $4,000 in grant funds to be used for COVID-related items that help to keep Davidson businesses operating.
Mayor Rusty Knox said, “Our businesses are a central part of our community. They have shown resilience during this pandemic, but they continue to need help to operate safely. We hope that this grant will provide the necessary funds to help them stay open.”
