Winter Storm Warning For Lake Norman: More Snow, Difficult Travel
More snow fell in the Charlotte and Lake Norman area Monday morning, as a winter storm warning is in effect until 2 p.m.

DAVIDSON, NC — The Charlotte metro region awoke to more snow Monday morning and a morning commute snarled by hazardous driving conditions as a winter storm warning continues until 2 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
“Light additional accumulation may cover some roadways that had already been cleared,” NWS said in a hazardous weather bulletin. “Pockets of freezing temperatures will keep some roads treacherous, as well. Conditions will slowly dry out from the west this afternoon.”
Monday’s high is not expected to get above 40 degrees, but temperatures will slowly increase through the week to reach the mid-50s by Friday.
