Police Charge Woman With Assault In Davidson

Two break-ins were reported in Davidson last week, according to police. Here's a rundown of recent crime reports around town.

DAVIDSON, NC — A 40-year-old woman was arrested and charged with assault recently, according to the Davidson Police Department.

Shannon Jordan, 40, was arrested Sept. 12 on Westbranch Parkway, and charged with simple assault

In addition to Jordan’s arrest, DPD issued citations that require court appearances for driving with a revoked license/seatbelt violation and no insurance/revoked registration. Two break-ins were reported to police, on Shasta Daisy Circle and Davidson-Concord Road.

Police issued 22 citations for various offenses that do not require a court appearance, eight of which were for speeding, Davidson Police Department said.
