Woman Assaulted On Beaty Street: Davidson Police Report

DAVIDSON, NC — Police made one arrest in Davidson last week, according to the police department’s blotter. Michael Bovino, 38, was arrested Nov. 18 on South Main Street and charged with a fugitive warrant from South Carolina, Davidson Police Department said.

An assault on a female was reported on Beaty Street Saturday, police said.

On Nov. 17, DPD also cited Cameron Ryan Bowie, 29, with driving with a revoked license during a traffic stop on Griffith Street, DPD said.

Police issued at least 34 citations for various offenses that do not require a court appearance, which included:

• Speeding — 9
• Expired tag — 8
• Expired inspection — 5
• No operator’s license — 2
• Failure to register vehicle — 1
• Stop light/ sign violation — 3
• Improper equipment — 1
• Seatbelt violation — 5
