Additional WIC Support
Starting the week of October 5, the Public Health Spring Lake Women, Infants and Children (WIC) office will add an additional day for in-person appointments on Wednesdays. The office will now be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The office is located at 103 Laketree Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28390 in the Family Resource Center. Call 910-321-6420 to make an appointment. Upon arrival, clients and visitors will be screened in a designated area. For clients in WIC, only one parent/guardian may accompany the child to their appointment.

The County plays an essential role in addressing food insecurity with the WIC program. WIC provides resources for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age 5 who are found to be at nutritional risk.

Eligible families, dads, grandparents and foster parents caring for eligible children should contact WIC at 910-433-3730 to enroll. In addition to the Spring Lake location, there is a WIC office in Fayetteville, located at 1235 Ramsey and remains open by appointment only. The Hope Mills location at 2622 Hope Mills Road remains closed.
