Spring Break is here and the kids are looking to do something fun. Here are a few ideas that won't break the bank.

1. Bowling

The Dragon Lanes, near the mini-mall on Fort Bragg has  $5 spring break special. It includes shoes, two games, a hot dog and soda. Runs through April 13, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

2. Roller Skating

4. Swimming

Swim indoors at Tolson Youth Center at Normandy and Reilly. Free for government i.d. card holders. Hours: M/W/F 0500 - 2200 open swim/lap swim, Tue/Th. 0500-1700, 1900-2200, Sat. 12-2000, Sun. 12-1900.

5. The Aloha Safari Zoo

Located within 30 minutes of Fort Bragg at 159 Mini Lane, Cameron, NC 28326. Walk through their "rainforest" building and "upper" section; visit their reptile room, monkeys, birds, petting zoo, etc. Then take the "Safari" tour, which takes you to the "bottom" where all of their big animals are - Watusi cattle, camels, zebras, zorse, etc. For a complete list of animals, please call for more details, (919) 770-7109.
