5 Things to Sign the Kids Up For

CPR Class – Tolson Youth Activities Center will host a Free Heartsaver CPR class on 23 May from 4pm – 6pm.  Target audience is students in 6^th – 12^th grade.  Parental participation is encouraged.  Certification will be provided.  Participants must be registered with CYSS.  Call 396-5437 to register or for more information.  

Fascinate U Children’s Museum Half Price or Free Admission – In honor of 31 Days of Glory the museum is offering half price admission for military families and free admission for families of deployed troops for the month of May.  Regular admission is $3 per child and $2 per adult.  Notify the cashier when you purchase your admission to receive these discounts.  http://www.fascinate-u.com/events.php

Play Date Summer Camp -  WThey are offering a full-day summer camp for ages 5-12, Monday - Friday, from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The fee is $160/week for the first child, and $135/week for all siblings over 5.  Fees INCLUDE all lunches, field trips, and arts/crafts!   We have events for each day!  Monkey Joe’s on Mondays, Dairy Queen on Tuesdays, movie theater on Wednesdays, lunch AT CiCis Pizza (instead of delivery from there) on Thursdays, and Fridays are field days in the grass patch!  We are so lucky to have ALL of these wonderful venues right here in our own shopping center, so we will simply be walking to our field trips!  There are 11 weeks of camp, from June 11-Aug 24, so you can pick which weeks you would like your child to attend.  Sign them up for all 11 and get a large discount!   A $20 deposit MUST be made to hold your spot, and there are only 12 slots available for each week, go in to register at their Westwood Shopping Center location.

The Little Gym Summer Classes and Camps - Get your kids out of the heat and inside The Little Gym to cool off and have fun. Camps start on June 17 and run Mon., Wed., Fri. from 9 to noon or Tu., Th. from 1-4 p.m. View their entire summer camp schedule online.

Audreys Sew Crazy Sew Camp: The program, located inside Hancocks Fabric, will teach basic sewing skills for ages 9 and up. Selected projects are available for beginners, project of choice with experience. Flexible hours available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the summer.
