Army Leaders to Collaborate at Bragg for Future Combat Effectiveness in 2020
The U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command is thinking ahead on how to best integrate solutions for soldiers in the future.

Friday, April 20, the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) leaders will gather at Fort Bragg to discuss Unified Quest 2012. A program that delves into how elements of the Human Dimension can enhance the Army's ability to provide combat effective, adaptable, trained and resilient Soldiers to meet the nation's needs in 2020.
The Human Dimension (HD) concept is a holistic study of how humans function in a system and the application of insight and knowledge to improve how they develop soldiers and leaders. The system that the Army is concerned of is made up of cognitive (thinking), physical, social, cultural, and other realms in which soldiers operate.
The need for HD stems from challenges soldiers are facing today, and will
face in the Army of 2020. Our Soldiers operate in increasingly complex
environments, and in order to be successful, these soldiers must be agile,
adaptive, and resilient.
Over sixty participants representing the Army, the Joint community,
interagency organizations and academia have already gathered earlier to collaborate on key factors.
