With fall approaching there is always plenty to do. Besides pumpkin patch trips, there is plenty to do in the community. For those not taking part in Halloween, many of our local churches offer 'trunk or treat' type festivals with games.
Two of our local farms, each over 100 years old, offers hayrides, education about the farm, then you can pick out a pumpkin. The farms are on opposite ends of town - West Produce and Gillis Hill Farm.

Take advantage of 4th Friday downtown, the past two years they held a zombie walk, type parade. Kids, dogs and zombie brides participated. It made for good people watching.
