File Your Federal Taxes for Free
Prepare your own taxes on the cheap. It's easier than you think.
If you are not military and don't want to pay to have your taxes prepared, think about a cheap software program, like TurboTax, or the basic one from H&R Block.
They are user friendly and guide you through the process so that you won't miss any steps - er, or deductions! You can still e-file online and get your refund direct deposited.
Some programs also offer the option to file for your state taxes as well. Don't pay exhorbitant fees, especially if your taxes are fairly simple. If you work from home and have many deductions, you can still use the software. Just be sure to have all your paperwork and receipts in order.
