Things that are fate sometimes have a way of coming back into your life even if you have long forgotten them or thought you had missed your opportunity.
When I went to college right out of high school I wanted to be a journalist. I lost myself along the way and ended up in a very different, but just as joyful path in life. While I do not have any big college degree or fancy job, I have three beautiful children and a loving husband to come home to everyday. It has been almost ten years since I graduated from high school and I feel God pushing me to pursue a dream long since forgotten. Journalism. In the past six months so many opportunities have come to my life and many of them involving some form of journalism, between writing this blog to dealing with news articles and now being interviewed by CNN. I feel these are all huge opportunities and signs from God. So as of today I am going to start looking into what schools offer the best journalism program in my area and see if I can start going back to school this summer :)
