It’s one of the oldest, intact residential areas in the South East, and offers one-of-a-kind antique shops and some of the most interesting marvels of Southern American architecture.

Downtown Fayetteville is also home to the award winning Dogwood Festival and International Folk Festival as well as monthly events such as 4th Friday, Fayetteville after Five, the Fayetteville Farmer’s Market and more.  From the historical charm of Hay Street and the Market House to the fantastic family friendly events to the eclectic array of specialty shops that line the streets, Downtown has established itself as one of Fayetteville's best attractions.
