A family pack of tickets for Iron Man appeared in my mother's day card - a day early, at that. I'm flattered that they all invited me to go along. It's about being together and at least I'll get to choose the restaurant.
Growing up I recall all the homemade gifts that we made at school, and over the years in our own home. Many thanks to some thoughtful and creative teachers out there.
What are your plans for mother's day? A quiet day in, some pampering gift cards, or brunch out with the masses after church? Whatever you do, the kind words, toast before dinner, or prayer at bed will really touch her heart and make her realize that she is appreciated.
